On 11 November 2025, FGL International had the privilege of presenting its latest sustainability project at the “ZDHC Europe Conference 2025” in Alicante, Spain. This key event in the green-economy landscape took place in an outstanding seaside venue.
Giacomo Giacomelli, Product & Strategic Marketing Manager at FGL International, outlined to the audience how the company first embarked on its journey towards ZDHC Level 3 certification, and how its research has since evolved with the development of a new compact re-tanning and fatliquoring system, supported by LCA data to measure its genuine environmental impact.
Taking the stage was a source of immense pride — both for the team who worked to achieve such tangible results and for the progress made along the way.
