. Lime removal was evaluated using phenolphthalein as a basic indicator, monitoring until complete deliming.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
. Dosage Recommendations (based on limed pelt weight):
- Skins & Baby Calf: 1,5% - 2,0%
- Lime Split Hides: 2,0% - 3,0%
- Full-Substance Hides: 2,5% - 4,0%
. Add PREBATING RS after pre-wash, in fresh float, and in a single dose.
. Continue processing until full deliming is confirmed by cross-section pH.
. Recipe adjustments, speed and rotation time, may be made for extremely thick hides.
